De CAL (Cyberathlete Amateur League) zal, door de stijgende intresse in Source, een Source devisie maken in europa. Deze zal hetzelfde verlopen als CAL:CSS in USA. CAL heeft het volgende statement vrijgegeven:

Due to growing interest in competitive Counter-Strike Source, the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) has announced the expansion of their Counter-Strike Source gaming division into Europe. The league is now taking applications for staff.
The Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) was created in March 2001 when the Cyberathlete Professional League acquired a small online league named Domain of Games.
CAL was launched with only one Counter-Strike division and has since expanded to include nearly thirty game divisions with hundreds of thousands of registered league members.
CAL attracts both seasoned veterans of online competitive gaming, as well as gamers just starting out, and is an innovator within the online gaming community. The primary goal of CAL is to be the standard for online competitions worldwide.

Dit is een grote stap. Na clanbase is er weinig competitie in europa waar topteams zich kunnen meten. Met dit zal er dus verandering komen.
